This is my least favourite of Fielding's books--or, at least, those I've read. It's not that it's bad, exactly, but I just didn't care about the characters.
I always thought they would run out of ideas for this series of books or the writing style and plot would become too unrealistic and It would get boring However I found that this book was still upto par with the rest of the house of night series, whilst still keeping with a complex and winding plot and still revealing possible story lines. Personally I feel all good things must come to an end and there can be too much of a good thing so I hope P.C. and Kristen keep all the other books at the same standard before the plot runs out of leads and becomes either too complex or too simple.
A brilliantly bifurcated magic-realist narrative from an author who hasn't yet let me down.
