It's good, but not as good as Marx's other essays. I think it's a bit whitewashed because it was a group effort.
Fascinating in a sad way.
Very interesting to read, but a lot to digest in one sitting. I found this much easier to read when I read it a chapter or two at a time, in between other books. Plenty of real-life examples make it quite enthralling to read.
This is one of the best actor's biographies I've read. Burstyn has an amazing journey from childhood abuse to being under the thumb of the men in her life to her search for spirituality and meaning in her life. My only quibble is that more time is spent on the beginning and middle years than her later life, but that's small when I consider what she was willing to share.
