Engaging and fast-paced, although a bit head-smackingly obvious in places as you wait for Reacher to catch up with the rest of the class.
The TV series is better.
Funny, clever book--it reminded me of Roald Dahl--veddy British, and slightly twitsted! The humor is great, and will appeal to adults, as well as kids. The child protagonists all have a characteristic or background that kids will easily identify with. This is the first in a series. I enjoyed this as a 'light' diversion, though it does present some thought provoking themes, which would make for a great conversation starter.
Everything about Johnny is wonderful. Even this little book.
