This 3rd book in the series didn't move along as swiftly as the first two, but it did provide a satisfactory ending to the whole experience. Overall, the series was a great read!
dissapointing sequel to altered carbon. the first one was good though.
I really enjoyed the premise of this book, of a rape victim, now dead, who looks down from heaven on her family. Perhaps I was simply in the mood to read such a sad topic, but I loved this book!

This was a book selected by my book club; I pushed myself to finish it for that reason. It is gruesome, gratuitously violent and full of degradation and horror. There are no likeable or sympathetic characters in this book. Each chapter presented a new and horrific reason to feel queasy--like you saw something you knew you shouldn't have seen, wished you hadn't seen and knew you would carry those really sickening images with you for a very long time. I am sorry I read it.
