I started to listen to this once and it didn't take but came back to it and it did. Neal Stephenson is very good at imagining future world's. Will something like the "primer" ever exist? Imagine Wikipedia, fully vetted, with personality and interactivity. It could happen.
The art was wonderful, and the visuals were closer to what I had imagined when I was reading the books than the movies had.
A very good novel showing how the revolutions deviate from their fundamental aims.
I am a huge Scott Westerfeld fan but I found this book lacking. As usual, his writing and development was great, but I didn't feel like I was engaged in a whole story or new world. All I can seem to remember is Peep cats, rats, and don't have sex unless you want to be a vampire.
