Reading this book reminded me that I am not the kind of reader I used to be. So many pages... I loved the elements of mysticism and magic. I felt like it was just a long walk with a lot of interesting scenery, but I didn't really get anywhere.
i don't remember it well but as i recall there's a scene in which the main character is trying to situate herself at a picnic...it simply broke my heart. the pain and awkwardness of trying to fit in, it kills me.
Read the first chapter and fell in love!
