Very good plot but I have to say it was almost predicable.
this book is a great read for a long flight, because it's short and sucks you in.
Lehane - he has this thing? He likes to do it with dialogue. A technique. But the technique? It gets old. Especially because I remember him talking about it when he came to visit my creative writing class, so it's like I can see him using this device every time a character opens his mouth. I very much enjoyed the title story, though.

Last night, I chose to read Desiree Holt’s book, “Night Mission“, which is part of the 1 Night Stand series. After finishing it in record time, I began to drool. The story was so sexy and the consummating was HOT! I had to hold my phone away from my face multiple times just to make sure my saliva wouldn’t short it out. Then, I had to turn my fan on high and remove all the covers to cool my temperature. I’m not one for cold showers but I think I could have used one after this steamy read. I was a bit disappointed that the book was so short. I wanted so much more. I don’t usually go for military guys, but in this case, I changed my mind. And I’m always a fan of women with red hair, because well, I have auburn hair myself. I loved that Desiree decided to play on the new trend of cougars and younger men, without making it seem like a major age difference. Maggie was the perfect kind of woman. She was sure of her sexuality and unashamed of asking for exactly what she wanted. And Gabriel didn’t seem to mind giving her all of it and more. Desiree is an excellent erotica writer who is certain to have your blood boiling and your skin sweaty. I dare you to remain unaffected! I know I couldn’t. I don’t usually give out rating, but after reading this book, I think I’m going to start. And I’d give this short story a 4 flame, for being really, really, freaking erotic.
