I really liked this book - I rated it 4 stars only because it was a bit too violent for me. Great character development, and a very interesting story. I listened to it on CD, which I loved because the one who read it has a luscious irish accent, which made painting the kitchen cupboards much more enjoyable!!
This writer should be more discriminant when writing. Many times I felt that I was rereading previous parts of the book (even on the same page) It is as though she wrote three different versions of each sentence, but then couldn't pick one and so left them all in... Still an interesting topic.
I love Merit. She is witty and funny. Now if I could just convince her that (view spoiler) is the guy for her.... This book seemed lighter than some of the other books I've read. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to read the next!
