This book was truely amazing. I was constantly amazed by the characters' faith and trust in God. I kept wondering what kind of person I would be if put in the same situation. I would hope that I would rely on God and sacrifice as much as they did. I loved Corrie's father and his wisdom. It was very touching when he told her that her father (both earthly and Heavenly) would carry her burdens for her until she was able to do it herself. That message kept appearing throughout the book and their trials. This was an inspiring tale.
I liked this book well enough. Can I remember anything about it right now? No. Not that that means that the book wasn't good. It was good! I just can't find the information in my head right now. But read it.....it's got some cool mythological elements thrown into the modern day.
