Good basic information on overcoming shyness and self-consciousness when flirting, but too short to be of any real use. More like a pamphlet than a book.
As other reviewers have said, I really wanted to like this book. Banks uses a tremendous amount of detail to describe, ultimately, very little. I found it hard to visualize most of what he was crafting. Despite putting it down several times, I read it through and was left marveling at the completely inadequate finish. I'll likely pick another of his works, but it'll be the last if its similar to 'Matter'.
