i read this in the heyday of my chick-lit obsession; it's much smarter than i originally gave it credit for. which is not to say it's a tome of great importance, but it's a decent example of the genre that won't make you feel as though your brain is leaking out your ears.
This was an awesome book! I cant wait to read the second one!
AMAZING
I love Maeve Binchy, but I must say this was not my favorite read of hers. This is one of the first of her books that I can recall where she refers to characters and places from past books. Luckily, I had just read one of them, otherwise I would have been totally lost. I know she has said that she intends to do this more, so keep up on your Binchy lore!
