I'm finally done. What a relief! For the most part, The Mists of Avalon was a really good book, but the last 200 pages (of 876) were difficult to get through, and much more boring than the rest of the story. If not for that, I would gladly have given this 4 stars.
Good but somewhat overrated. Hardly an "important" novel.
"Come to me, he signed. Come down to me, my female." Love that line. One of my all time favorites in this series.
