I just finished reading this book and I so appreciate that I won it from Goodreads! It was a 'good' book about a grieving widow and how she was learning to cope through her grief, mostly by running away from everything that she and her husband had together. Throughout the process, she would be vaguely reminded of things that she either wanted to do or that her husband thought she should do by little one word or short phrased notes he left hidden away hoping she would find. Of course she did find the notes and at times she had a hard time understanding them, but ultimately she would come to understand the meaning behind most of the notes. I do like how Berg drives home how, at times married people forget their friends and spend all of their time together as a couple, but if something happens to end the relationship, it is your friends that you will need in the end. The book never really brought me to tears as I would expect from a book about grief, but it was a nice, quick read.
