I can honestly say that this book as probably one of the best second books I've read in a while. I usually don't like the second book in a series for some reason. I dont know why, but I usually just lose interest with the series or something about the book annoys me, but I'm happy to say not this one. For one thing, I like how Evie is more girly than the heroines that I have been reading about lately. It's nice to see a girl who can kick butt and also have a hot pink taser named Tasey. :) Also, there was a romance, but not an overdose of it. You didnt feel like you were suffocating from all the lovey-dovey stuff, but it was a nice balance of Lend and Evie. Another thing I really find appealing about this book is that there is a whole mix of different paranormal creatures within these books. It just doesnt focus on one specific species/paranormal creature. *Slightly spoilerly* The only thing that I would say that kinda upset me about this book was that there was one character who I really liked for their humour and attitude and they ended up being a bad guy in the end. Well, not totally bad, but not a character with the best judgment. I was really upset when I read that part. But other than that, I would have to say that this book is a great read!
Ahhhhhhhhhhh! That can't be the end! I don't know if I can wait for the next book!
