I don't get why the media makes such a big deal about Curtis Sittenfeld. I liked Prep, I really did, and yeah it sure sounds like the voice of a somewhat mean, somewhat irrelevant, totally annoying teenage girl who gets boosted out of middle-class obscurity to attend a prep school. But where's the genious? Isn't Curtis just writing about herself? That's the impression I got.
