I have so enjoyed reading these books. I started when I was 18 and have been gradually working my way through them over the years. I love his writing, the way he gets the truths about life, love, friendship and social interactions so spot on. I don't mind the sentences that go on for pages - I find it very relaxing reading, since you have to accept that it's a long-term reading project, rather than something to skip through for the plot. I'm rather sad to have finished it. I shall probably start again from the beginning quite soon, though.
