Dumb! Dumb! The imagination here is very dull. The characters themselves were different and had potential to create a great book but the authors ladk of imagination killed it quickly. I tried to read the second one to see if it would pick up and it took a nose dive instead. Maybe it is for young juvinile reading only bacause adults should know better than to waste their time.
true story about a mysterious murder. I didn't know it was true till I got to the last page though and read the authors statement. Really funny at times and entertaining. I highly recommend it.
A very good sequel to her extraordinary first novel, "The Sparrow". Nothing like a good wrestling with religious, sociological and ethical questions, set on an alien planet with a very well thought out society of it's own.
