İlginç, ama önceki kitaplarda sesi daha iyi seviyorum, bu bir tür sürükleniyor, genç bir aşk / korku / fantezi gibi ama çok fazla kelime.

Another old favourite; A.S. Byatt is just so effing impressive. Writing her own Victorian poetry for her characters! Weaving the myth of Melusine into the contemporary narrative! I've got exact words from some scenes stuck in my head, a list of ingredients from a picnic (thin slices of green apple, white Weynsleydale cheese), glorious images (Maud letting her hair down for the first time), and that whole, amazing epilogue, which I read aloud to myself every so often.
I enjoyed reading the book. Small town girl meets rich boy. A fictional story with shades or reality. A page turner!
