LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE it. This series is UP there on my all time favorite books. Seriously. And I love that they're clean books. There's no swearing. There's no sex. Just some butt kicking spies. Now can someone direct me to where I'd need to go to get some spy lessons? I'm obsessed...apparently.
Very enjoyable fantasy novel with interesting and well defined characters. I look forward to reading more of the series.
I was expecting a lot more from this book. I found that Sedaris gets himself into really bizarre situations and then becomes a weasly milquetoast. For example, he's on the subway in France, and some American tourists are talking about how bad he smells. He thinks of all the funny things he could say, and then...he doesn't say them! Irritating, right? A big unflushed turd at a friend's apartment. Funny? You decide.
