This book was quite refreshing, because of the way that the Lisa McMann wrote her story. It was in short clipped sentences, but was still very interesting. I love the plot and how Cable loved her all along.
It was really good. The characters were so real,I felt like I was there with them. She uses great detail, but there are some mythical creatures(I think that was the best part!).
Beautiful and touching, Lauren does an awesome job in this book. Sam is real and you can easily understand her actions. Many people talk about what they would do if today was their last day, Sam has 7 "last days" and she thinks about doing everything most people think about (and actually does a few), but she starts to realize what she should really do in her last day, and what is really special for her. Perfect, totally one of my favorites now.
Typical South Boston/Gangster stuff. Apparently the author was a Statie who ended up in jail. Anyways, recommended by my mother-in-law, and she loved it because it talked about all of the streets in South Boston, where she grew up(drive down L street, take a left down East Broadway..etc..etc). Anyways, I give it 2 stars, meaning its a nice change from a James Patterson book, if thats what your into.
