Everything is (not) Illuminated You're the one who has to uncover the star that this novel is, it is full of holes but it can somehow stand on its own. It's a MAJESTIC novel, as it's clearly aesthetic. I wouldn't say the content is completed, or at its best; while the writing techniques are totally fabulous. I cannot totally commit with this beautiful string of ideas and butchered words by giving it five stars because for me, it sometimes tries too hard and doesn't get what it clearly wants to get. Still, it is a great work by JSF, highly recommend it.
