I read through this one pretty quick; it paints an accurate portrait of what a family is going through when a child disappears and goes missing. It was real, heartbreaking, and delved into the minds of all involved.
I liked this story. It was the first one we read in Russian 25W (which I'm very glad I took). I should read more Russian literature.
I've only read a few short stories here, but they are extremely well-written and thoughtful stories. Along with some of the essays she has written, these stories become even more interesting. They do not take long to read, are unpredictable, and they hit me hard emotionally.
