Son 10 yılını bir "lanet" altında geçirdi - çıktığı veya nişanlandığı her adam aniden kazaya eğilimli hale geliyor. Laneti sona erdirmek için onun ve teyzesi arasında yarı pişmiş bir plan uzun bir parodi ve yanlış adım çizgisi başlatır, ancak sonsuza dek mutlu bir şekilde sona erer.

Another book about heroism for young kids. I really liked it. A short book, but it helped shape my child's imagination on warfare and honor.
This book was so incredibly beautifully written, I almost wish I hadn't watched the movie first, because the movie was so dead on. Barring the choices of who played Cee and Robbie, not that Knightly and McAvoy aren't good actors, but Robbie's supposed to be very big and strong, McAvoy, is kind of slender. But that didn't bother me as much as Knightly, she's supposed to be beautiful but horse-faced...not quite pictureing Knightly for that. So because the movie and book were almost identical everytime I read a sentence of beautiful imagery prosed by McEwan, I pictured a scene from the movie, whether or not that's a good thing or bad thing I can't tell. I can't decide if I like the book better or the movie better. It was tough because I knew exactly what was going to happen as I read the book, but you know what, still by the end of part one I was in tears. When Robbie's mom is screaming "liars, LIARS!" it got to me, it was so heart breaking. I have a couple of quotes dog-earred in my book, but I'm at work now so I'll add them later.
Not my favorite. The story was lost on the kids, they just didn't seem to connect with it.
erm, i read this because it was there? it's an example of korean seinen (i don't know the official name for the genre) and interesting as such, but i can't say it grabbed me. the art was complicated and i get impatient with that style of frenzied slapstick.
