Another book that I just couldn't get enough of- I am a sappy romantic at heart.
I'm not even sure I knew that Chicago held the World's Fair in 1893. I didn't know that the Ferris Wheel was created for the fair. I know that I was unaware that there was a serial killer during that time. This book could have been a bit boring, but Larson did a great job of blending the two stories.
Got this out the library on audio as I have been busy knitting and can't read a book at the same time but I can listen!

I enjoyed this easy-read book of three southern sisters living in Georgia & the difficult relationship they have communicating with each other. The title "Friday's Daughter" is taken from the nursery rhythm, Friday's Child-loving & giving. I love any book that has great charcter development & is charcter driven. I loved the intorduction of cherokee history by Tobias & how their relationship begins. Teensie is a great nurse and has taken care of her family so long she doesnj't even realize she is missing a part in her own life. The judge was a wonderful surprise for the small part he played in the book. After reading this book I'm going to check out some of her other books.
