This was lying around our house so I read it in one evening. I wish I had read it when I was younger. I would have loved it. I enjoyed it now too, it's great storytelling. There are plot flaws that jump out at me but I was happy to ignore them and go along with the story becase of the tight narration. It is simplistic and reductive and tries hard to make its point, but it is one of the best young adult books I have ever read and it is a good science fiction story too.
A nice Summer beach book. Pleasant. Nothing spectacular.
