I was lucky enough to win this book through the Good Reads Giveaway program. This was my first opportunity to read a book by Guy Vanderhaege. I was a bit hesitant to start this book because I had read it is "loosely" the third book in a trilogy. No fears there! The characters trod dusty paths in my brain and made me want to read very quickly to see what direction they were heading. I got lost a bit with all the Fenian issues that were brought up, but I do have to say it always gives me a bit of a thrill to read a book based in Canada and to have familiar places play parts of the story. The next books on my list of "To Read" will be the first and second book in this series. Highly recommended.
