Angels & Demons, The DeVinci Code...whatever the title, Dan Brown doesn't venture far from the same storyline. While the book as entertaining, it certainly wasn't anything original.
This book follows a young English professor as she tries to get tenured and sort through her feelings on love and happiness. The plot got weaker throughout the book (too melodramatic), but I enjoyed the commentaries on literature and a look into the world of professors.
This book was on display at the Lakeside branch with a favorable endorsement. It's a crime novel involving Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and an Indian named George Edilaj who is accused (wrongly) of a crime. I returned it without finishing it. If it gets better, it does so too slowly for me.
