What a book! So Poetic and beautifully written, i was sad when it ended. Different from other books iv'e read, im so glad i read it:) I was a little dissapointed with the ending because i thought it would be something much bigger and dramatic that would happen, but i guess the book is supposed to be about 'ordinary people,ordinary lives' and someone getting runover is a more ordinary thing to happen than say, a nuclear bomb.
This book is one of the reasons I do what I do. I don't know whether it actually prompted me to apply to the master's program I did, but it definitely shaped my decision to study what I studied.
