Honest and heart breaking story of Ian Curtis' rise to fame in Joy Division written by his former wife. I especially liked the story from his wife's point of view and the emotional toll his epilepsy, fame, and infidelity took on her, although she never lets it eclipse the true story of Ian's brilliance.
After careful consideration, I did not enjoy this book. I finished it, yes, but I found the characters boring and not worth caring about. The action was so slow in the beginning that I felt like I was reading backwards. It took me two tries to get into it, and since I bought this book on my kindle, I had to read it. Now I can't even return it!
