Ne zaman bu kitap sipariş, sadece 4 4 olduğunu bulmak için rahatsız oldu. Küçük boyutu bu kitabın kalitesini etkilemez! gaudi'nin etkileri üzerine çok fazla malzeme olduğu için son derece yardımcı oldu. KÜÇÜK BOY SİZİ KEŞFETMEYİN. ayrıca, bu kitabın tartışmanın içeriğiyle harika bir şekilde eşleşen birkaç güzel fotoğrafı vardı. Gaudi ve eserleri hakkında bilgi edinmek veya fırçalamak isteyen herkese tavsiye edilir.
Sanırım nihayet birçok insanın SEP'lerin kitaplarını neden sevdiğini anlıyorum. İlk başta anlamadım (Kimsenin bebeğini değil benimkini okuduğumda), ancak Dream a Little Dream ve Angel'ı Öpücük okuduktan sonra, fandomun üstüne atladığımı duyurmaktan mutluluk duyuyorum. SEP'nin Daisy'nin bağımlı ve zayıf bir kızdan değişimini kendinden emin ve bağımsız bir kadına nasıl dönüştürdüğünü gerçekten sevdim. Bu 4 yıldız verdiğim nedeni, kitabın biraz rüya biraz Dream ayarlarını benzer olduğunu hissettim çünkü. Ama genel olarak, eğlenceli bir kitaptı.
Bu kitabın ilginç başladığını, ortasında biraz gecikme olduğunu, ancak sonunda gerçekten toplandığını düşündüm. Bundan sonra Modern Kütüphanenin Tüm Zamanların En İyi 100 Romanını okuyorum [# 100]! Bu kitabı kesinlikle bir arkadaşınıza öneririm. Yazı biraz Jane Austen romanını andırıyor, çok hoşuma gitti!
In the wonderfully illustrated children's book Amos McGee is an older man who gets up every morning and goes to his job at the City zoo. Even though his job keeps him bust, Amos, a kind, gentle man with smiley face is never too busy to spend time with his friends. Whether it is having a race with the tortoise, or spending time with a shy penguin, or reading stories to the owl who is afraid of the dark, Amos makes his friends feel important. One day Amos is sick with a cold, and the animals wonder where he is. Concerned, his animal friends go to his house to care for him and show Amos how much he is missed. Not only is this a sweet story, but the illustrations, by Erin Stead, are fabulous. Pencil sketch like drawings peppered with vibrant colors to highlight items of interest make this the type of book you and your special little one will treasure.
There are two things I knew about Tina Fey before reading this book. One, she was on SNL and two, she does an incredible impersonation of Sarah Palin. That was IT! However, after reading her book, Matt and I went on to watch all the episodes of 30 Rock and every Tina Fey movie we can find on Netflix. We now love her. I think she is terribly funny and Matt things she is incredibly beautiful. He also thinks she is funny and I also think she is pretty but that is besides the point. I really liked reading about how she started her acting carrer and how she really worked for it. And I really admire her success. She has done great with all she has done. Her book is funny and quirky and even though I think this is one of those books that needs to be "read" on audio, I was still able to capture her voice in my head while I read it on my kindle. What is great about this book, is that I consider stars to be superheros, or super humans, above criticism, critique and judgements. I mean, they can't be 'real' humans, they are only on TV. But after reading her book, you get to know that she is just as self conscience as I am, just as awkward. And it's comforting to know that she is, after all, just human. I would recommend this book to anyone that wondered if it was worth reading. It is. And it's quick too, I finished it in just a couple days.
I had a really hard time making it through this book. I've loved some of Josi Kilpack's work, but this one wasn't for me. I don't believe I will read anymore of these books but I would like to try more from this author.
