Not as in-depth as I would have liked, but an interesting story about life and forgery in Georgian England.
I read a review of this book on here and the reviewer compared this author to Nicholas sparks but I don't see it at all. This is a very well written, sad story about a girl and her mom who move to the US and are forced to live in awful conditions. They live in a roach infested home that has no heat and work in a factory under the employment of the evil aunt Paula. This book reminded me a little of shanghai girls but it was much less depressing and more engrossing. I'd definitely Recommend this book to anyone who enjoys well written realistic fiction
