Very common sense look at the truth, but something everyone should revist now an again. Quick easy read.
This is a follow up to All Creatures Great and Small, and like the first book, it is completely charming and funny. It isn't the kind of book you can't put down, but I always looked forward to a few chapters before bed. I love the little stories, and insights he has into nature, people, and animals. I also find the medical side of it interesting, although I sometimes got a little grossed out because it does detail blood, guts, puss, etc., and I think that kind of thing is yucky. This one kind of flits around in time--sometimes he is married, sometimes he is not, but it still works. I would recommend this to anyone, except my friend Jenni, because she would probably throw up at the blood/guts aspect.
