AMAN TANRIM. bunlar en iyisiydi. ND, resimlendirilmiş kapaklarda sınırsızdı. her kitapta farklı bir insana benziyordu, ama her zaman tombul arkadaşı, açıkça eşcinsel arkadaşı ve BF vardı. iç çekmek.

Bu da kabul için çok iyiydi.

LOVED it. Going to have to find more of Shannon Hale's books. Well-written, flowed, good characters, plot. Definite must read.

I didn't realize a man wrote this until I finished the book. Incredible!

I'm not entirely sure what the hype is all about with this author. I hear about him all the time and finally decided to read one of his books and I was very disappointed. The book lacked a clear focus. The main story of the book was about a war between old gods and new gods but there seemed to be a lot of other little stories happening that weren't really related to anything else. Some of the stories were never wrapped up either. Most of the gods that he talked about I've never heard of (expect for Medusa, I knew her), so it made the book even more confusing not knowing who these gods were suppose to be, maybe he should have included a glossary at the back of the book for this exact purpose. I also found the ending really dumb and it reminded me of stories where the main character wakes up and it's all a dream, although this isn't what happened at all. It wasn't just the story I didn't like either, I also found the author's writing style annoying to read. The author tried very hard (too hard in my opinion) to sound profound, but by the end of the book everything he wrote ended up just sounding dumb. ie. "It wouldn't have mattered if he hadn't wanted to live, but he did want to live, and that made all the difference. He hoped he would live through this, but he was willing to die, if that was what it took to be alive." Huh? I did give this book two stars because I thought the beginning of this book was okay and it wasn't the most horrible book I've ever read, but I don't think I will be reading any more books by this author.
