This is one of the books that I read for my bookclub I quit. Seriously, who can in good conscience be in a book club where 36 year olds complain about their fathers no longer paying their bar fees? But I digress, I thought this book was interesting in the same way that The Glass Castle is interesting. It's a world I did not grow up in but if not for the grace of whoever I could have. And what's not to like about a chapter that includes a list of all the things a father has won and lost during card games.
