Book #46 of 2012 I have, at some point this summer, listened to the audio versions of books 1 and 2 and most of 3 before giving up and just reading it (faster for me that way). Whereas when I first started reading these books I got a little burned out on Mercy, this time I was excited to keep reading. Book #11 of 2011 (first read 1/29/2011) This book picks up immediately where the prior book left off. Mercy immediately gets herself into some more adventures. Mercy finally seems to be easing into her relationships with the fae and the werewolves and even a vampire. Adam, for his part, didn't seem so overwhelmingly bossy in this installment. An enjoyable additon to the series.
Just like Josh (http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/29...) said, I also don't remember these books, and rather remember them as being a story that was so riveting, that I wasn't exactly paying attention to what was actually being said. I've read this once, when I was quite young, so maybe the whole 'not remembering thing' is the result of my poor memory, and the large gap between when I read it, and when I remembered I had read it (=now).
I have read this book every few months for the past few years, and it is still as creepy/magical/clever as the first day I read it.
