Now that I have it, I'm thinking: why? It's more than 60 years old, contains very few words, wastes space and the explanations are really really short. But it has hundreds of different metric names with examples from Greek and Latin.
I'm not ashamed to admit my history with The Smiths and this fictional story takes one fellow fan's obsession to the next level as he tracks down the members of the band to talk them into reuniting one last time. Sex, drugs, and rock n' roll follow in kind. Delivers a good does of nostalgia for those of us still living in 1986.

Very good Pendergast story for those who follow the character. I do believe, however, that you should read Fever Dream before reading Cold Vengeance as it picks up where Fever Dream left off. If you are not familiar with the story you will be completely lost.
Language was an issue. Makes me nervous to read her again. I liked the controversy, but didn't agree with some of the characters. (Surprise)
