this book made me cry, though 2 of my friends read it and it didn't make them cry...i'm a softy i guess! about a big yellow lab who gets into ALOT of trouble...
I find myself reading a lot of books by Indian writers, primarily because I'm married to an Indian citizen. After this book got so much attention and garnered so much praise, of course I picked it up. I'll be honest. I wasn't hooked after the first few pages, or even the first several chapters. In fact, I may have abandoned it if my mother-in-law hadn't been visiting and anxiously waiting to discuss the book with me. It took some time, but at some point I realized I was actually enjoying the story. It still isn't my favorite, but it's a worthwhile read. Don't give up on it, even though I'm pretty sure you'll want to.
