I thought it was a really awesome book the very middle of it when your in the perspective of Jacob it gets a little boring but I thought it was the best of the whole series
Happened to have the first chapter of this in my Kindle app on my most recent flight. Read it, landed and ordered the rest of the book! LOVED the old Jacob in this book--his description of his elderly life felt spot on, and made me wish I could interact with my grandparents again. Tale of a college boy who ends up joining a circus train during the 30s. Tragedies and love triangles ensue. GREAT ending.
Enjoyable and I could definitely relate to certain aspects of the characters lives, but it did not live up to the reviews. I don't like how the flap copy avoids 9/11 but that the turning point in the story surrounds it. Not cool.
