Awesome, as Terry Pratchett is. Hilarious, involved lots of Shakespeare, especially Macbeth. My first time with the witches. I think they're my favorite discworld characters so far!
This story revolves around the feats of the fantastical Irish folk hero Finn MacCool, so while it's understandably hard to believe in parts it is definitely a fun read.
I almost didn't finish this, but a little bit over halfway through it suddenly picks up and becomes pretty amazing. Couldn't put it down after that, and to this day I still adore the villain character. I just feel like a good chunk of the middle could be taken out and the book would be a lot better for it.
i didn't like this book much at all. while reading it, i felt like i was part of an experiment that was falling short of hitting the mark.
