I'm only a couple hundred pages or so into this massive book, but i have to say, it caught me from the very first sentence. Awesome writing style and even more intriguing as its sort of an autobiography--the author is raw and honest with every observation he makes. He manages to make even the random unimportant details really interesting and significant. Crazy--he wrote the whole thing while he was in prison.
It's Grisham, only non-profit. Quick, engaging, all the stuff you want in a Grisham book. Much fewer plot machinations in this one though - much more of a statement about homelessness than a conspiracy theory that has to be untangled.
