I thought this was a great book. Some folks might find it way too optimistic and might find Lylice a little too smart and a little too good spelled politically correct, but for some reason I couldn't stop reading till the last page was over.
This is a WONDERFUL book! I had a hard time getting into it because the writing style is different than the norm, but it was worth the effort because as the stories unfolded, it became one of the most endearing and fulfilling books I've ever read. Highly recommended!
Awesome debut novel from Joe Hill (son of Stephen King...shhh). Judas Coyne is an aging rocker with a penchant for much younger women and a collection of macabre items. He buys a supposedly haunted black suit online, stirring up demons both past and present. I couldn't put this book down. This is a fast read full of big scares and a main character I really enjoyed. I am looking forward to Joe Hill's next book.
