It's been a long time since I read a book of poetry. This one is quite enjoyable. Reminded me a lot 69 Love Songs by The Magnetic Fields.
Hated, hated, hated. I actually listened to this in the car on the way to and from the beach (who don't like fluffy fiction at the beach?) and would like to have a word or two with ol'Meg Cabot--or at least her annoying, simpering, apologetic-for-taking-up-a-single-inch-of-Planet-Earth main character. Young women do not need to read about idiots being idiots who stay idiots (to be fair: idiots who become only slightly less idiotic). And women my age? Should stick to books meant for her demographic. Lesson learned.
