This book nearly converted me to Christianity. The clarity of purpose, the beautiful imagery and the uncompromisingly human and moral world-view. Using Dorthy Sayers' commentary as a supplements, this book is a joy to read. The notes are fascinating, but the story itself is good. Good strategy for reading this book: read a Canto, read the notes, re-read the chapter. Then posting here!
