Tangled Up In Blue Kyndyl Freeman has been a marshall for the last eight years. Single, she’s adopted her partner Clark family as her own, as well as her boss Tommy as her dad. Kyndyl enjoys her job of bringing fugitives into justice who hope to cross into Canada to escape conviction. Kyndyl is leading a routine prisoner transfer and finds herself caught in the middle of a growing mess. Slowly Kyndyl starts putting the pieces together. What she doesn’t know is that she’s a big part of this case and the exposure can possibly ruin her life. Is she prepared to deal with the fall out? ONE LAST DANCE, LITTLE SISTER? is surprisingly a good read. You get the mystery, background story and the plot. At first, I worried how the cover and title tied into the story, but after reading, I totally get it. I am a mystery fanatic. Up watching CSI, Law & Order, Criminal Minds, Matlock, Perry Mason and Murder She Wrote trying to figure out the who and the why. I enjoy seeing how the story and characters lead you to the clues and you find yourself wrapped up in the mystery. ONE LAST DANCE, LITTLE SISTER? by Inda Lauryn is slow in some places, a tinge confusing, with a print that is much too small. I did find myself enjoying the musical selections, as well as the climax. I do still have some unanswered questions, so I’m hoping to revisit Kyndyl Freeman. Reviewed by: Crystal 3.5
