really fun fantasy trilogy told mostly in first person by Bartimaeus, an ancient djinni who has an incredibly snarky sense of humour and likes to use footnotes. good character development over the trilogy. lots of laugh-out-loud.
Very touching and sad. Great review on Ireland's history. Heavy book at times.
