Definitely more of a boy's club read, but I enjoyed it.
I did not like Blue Moon as much as I did Evermore. This book had too much going on for me to keep up with. The main reason(s) why I gave it 3 stars is because of the way Damon treated Ever and I did NOT like the ending. Hopefully, the next book will be better.
There are some wonderful things about this book, but I ultimately found Dyer's style a little hard to swallow. Reminds me of Juan Carlos Onetti a little, in that he has these melencholy misanthropes traipsing around in exotic locales, but not a lot really happens. All atmosphere and little verve.
Far too violent for my taste.
