Fantastic. Is you have any interest at all in the ins and outs of demonic forces and how to work against them, read this.
I think I am giving this book a 3.5 stars. I enjoy reading the book especially with the photographs scattered all around the book. But the reasons why I take half a star away are: 1. The beginning is promising a creepy mystery thriller. 2. The rest of the story feel kid-ish. Which I don't really mind, but some people may be turned off by it. So a bit of a warning if you will. 3. The end feels like the book was just the prelude to the second book with a more epic story. By the end of the day, As a children adventure book, this nook deserves a 4 star but since it's not as creepy and as dark as I thought it would be, I am set on a 3.5 stars.
Another good thriller from Linwood Barclay, though at times there were parts of the plot which could be spotted a mile off! Not as good as 'No Time for Goodbye' but then that was an exceptional debut novel- this is still a good, fast paced, entertaining read.
