Another of Sophie Kinsella's books I just love! It is a quirky, funny book that I really enjoyed reading. Emma is a nervous flyer and when she is on a turbulent plane, she spills out ALL her secrets to a stranger who is sitting next to her. When everything seems to be fine, she leaves the airport thinking she will never see that man again. The ironic thing is that he ends up being her boss of the whole mega corporation she works at. I found the character to be very original and entertaining. Her relationship with Jack Harper (her boss) really put me on edge.
Although elegantly written with great description (a little too great) I have to wonder if the author had a story plot. I almost gave up but after the first 130 pages the story started to take a shape that I wanted to find out what happens. Well, I was left wanting. There is no clear story, there is no real ending. It had a lot of potential, but it just seemed unclear and unfinished.
