So, I get it - the Emperor's Children. So the late 20s are HARD, particularly if you come from a privileged background. So we're all "weightless". So 9/11 changes everything - and it changes nothing. So? Well, it's an interesting read. Though-provoking, I'm sure. Realistic in some ways ... but, really, I couldn't make myself care about any of these characters. I found them all kind of boring, self-interested, self-important brats. Yet, I kind of liked the book - not loved, but liked. Kind of how these characters seemed to feel about each other.
