Wish I could summon up more energy to write a proper review of this novel. The problem is that the novel did nothing but inspire "meh" in me. The Maisie books tend to be very hit or miss for me. I've absolutely love one book and then the next one will fall flat for me. I'll still keep reading the series as they come out, of course, but I won't be running to the bookstore the day it's published, that's for certain.
